Circular 548 of the FAMHP clarifies the situation regarding medical devices that should be at all times and in the required quantities in pharmacies for the public.
Annex II of the Royal Decree of 21 January 2009 on instructions for pharmacists includes the list of medicines, medical devices and raw materials required to be at all times and in required quantities in pharmacies for the public.
This list has resulted in several questions from pharmacists, particularly on medical devices.
Circular 548 (French version) is intended to clarify the situation on this list and enable a better understanding of some of the devices that are included.
